Assembly, use and maintenance of vane pump after disassembly and repair

(1) Before assembly, first remove the burrs on the parts, and then clean them before putting them into assembly.

(2) The blades assembled in the rotor slot shall move flexibly. Generally, the blades shall not fall down due to the tension of oil after being loosened by hand. Otherwise, the assembly is too loose, the fit clearance is 0.02 ~ 0.025mm, and the fit clearance is 0.025 ~ 0.04mm.

(3) The axial clearance between stator, rotor and port plate shall be 0.045 ~ 0.055mm to prevent the increase of leakage.

(4) The length of the blade shall be 0.05 ~ 0.01mm less than the thickness of the rotor. At the same time, the blade and rotor shall maintain the correct assembly direction in the stator without wrong installation.

(5) Pay attention to the method of fastening screws: the screws shall be stressed symmetrically and evenly, tightened in several times, and the pump shaft shall be rotated by hand at one side to ensure flexible and stable rotation without blocking of different severity.

(6) If possible, the installed vane pump can be tested on the bench according to the specified technical standards. If not, relevant tests must be carried out on the main engine before it can be put into use. Otherwise, it must be repaired or replaced.
