Maintenance of Shearer_ Improvement of hydraulic system

(1) Problems in hydraulic system of electric haulage shearer

① The high and low pressure of the hydraulic system is completed by a height adjustment pump, so the pressure is extremely unstable, which will impact and vibrate the hydraulic components and affect the service life of the hydraulic components.

② The starting and stopping of traction motor and brake are not synchronous, and the brake is often burned.

(2) Improvement measures for hydraulic system of electric haulage shearer

① Changing the height regulating pump into a double gear pump can separate the high and low pressure circuits of the system and supply pressure separately. Without one circuit, the high pressure will not affect the low pressure and the pressure of the system will be relatively stable. In this way, the shearer will work stably and reliably and will not impact the hydraulic components.

② An electro-hydraulic pressure relay is connected in series in the low-pressure circuit of the hydraulic system (as shown in Fig. h). One end is connected with the traction motor through the main controller, and the other end is connected in series in the low-voltage circuit. The electro-hydraulic pressure relay can set the pressure. When the pressure of the hydraulic system cannot reach the given pressure value, the brake cannot be opened and the traction motor cannot be started, so as to prevent the brake from burning.

By taking the above measures, the shearer completely avoids the above problems in use, the hydraulic system works stably and reliably, the service life of hydraulic components is greatly improved, the failure rate is also significantly reduced, and good economic and social benefits are obtained.
