No load displacement experimental device of hydraulic pump and motor

① Overview

a. Pre test conditions. Before the test, the components shall be put into trial operation according to the manufacturer's recommendation.

b. Test device. The test device shall be designed to prevent air from mixing in. Before the test, measures shall be taken to remove all free air from the system. The DUT shall be installed and operated in the test circuit in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. The connecting pipe of the oil inlet of the tested element shall be straight hard pipe, and its diameter shall be uniform and consistent with the size of the oil inlet of the tested element.

c. Pollution degree of test medium. The contamination degree of the test medium shall meet the requirements of the component manufacturer. Sufficient number and proper type of filters shall be installed in the test circuit to control the contamination of the test medium. In the test report, the details of the filter used in the test circuit shall be stated.

② Test circuit

a. Overview. Figures a, B and C show three basic test circuits, which do not include any necessary safety devices. The person in charge of the test shall pay due attention to the safety protection of personnel and equipment.

b. Hydraulic pump test circuit. The open test circuit shown in figure a or the closed test circuit shown in Figure B shall be used. If the inlet oil of the pump is required to be supplied by pressure, a pressure control valve shall be installed in the inlet pipeline of the pump, and its installation position shall be no less than 10d away from the pressure measuring point.

If it is necessary to increase the inlet pressure of the tested pump, the following methods can be adopted:

·The feed pump and pressure control valve are used to keep the inlet pressure of the tested pump at the required value.

Note: if the closed circuit is used (see Fig. b), unless a larger flow rate is required due to cooling demand, the make-up pump only needs to provide a flow rate slightly exceeding the total circuit loss of the system.

·If other methods (such as gas filled tank or pressurized tank) different from the oil supply pump are adopted, appropriate measures shall be taken to minimize the influence of air mixed or dissolved into the test circuit.

c. Hydraulic motor test circuit. The test circuit with controllable hydraulic source shown in Figure C shall be adopted.
